Shortlist announced for 2026 IAPAs

Shortlisted entrants have been announced for the 2026 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs), following a meeting of the five-strong independent judging panel earlier this week. With more than 130 entries submitted, the IAPAs continue to stand out as one of the most keenly anticipated events in the global powered access calendar.

The 2026 awards ceremony will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on 22 April 2026, celebrating excellence and best practice across the powered access industry. Jointly organised by IPAF and Rental & Access International, the IAPAs bring together manufacturers, rental companies, training providers and other specialists from around the world.

This year’s programme features 13 award categories, recognising achievements in areas including new products, digital innovation, sustainability, safety, and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace. In a special tribute, the Contribution to Safe Working at Height Award has been renamed The Kevin O’Shea Contribution to Safe Working at Height Award, honouring the late Kevin O’Shea, who passed away in 2025.

The IAPA dinner and awards will once again run on the same day as the IPAF Summit, creating two days of high-level presentations, topical debate and outstanding networking opportunities in Istanbul. Delegates can attend the daytime Summit sessions before joining industry peers at the evening awards ceremony.
